Must be able to perform the following duties:

Diagnose Electrical Issues: Utilize diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and troubleshoot electrical problems in vehicles. Conduct thorough inspections and tests to pinpoint the source of the issue.

Repair Electrical Systems: Repair or replace faulty electrical components, including wiring, connectors, switches, fuses, relays, starters, alternators, and other related parts. Ensure the proper functioning of electrical systems and restore them to optimal performance.

Install Electrical Components: Install and configure electrical accessories, aftermarket components, and upgrades in vehicles

Ongoing Learning: Stay updated with the latest automotive technology, electrical systems, and repair techniques through continuous learning, training, and professional development. Keep abreast of advancements in electrical systems to ensure expertise in the field

Minimum Requirements:

• Grade 12
• Qualified Auto Electrician with at least 2 Years Experience
• Valid drivers licence

Working Hours:

Mondays to Fridays from 07:00am to 17:30pm.
Saturdays from 08:00 to 13:00pm.

• Proficiency in PASTEL is a must

• Responsible for all TAX / VAT related queries from SARS
• Performing various internal audits as required

Duties include but are not limited to:

• Servicing of light motor vehicles, SUV’s and 4×4’s.
• General mechanical repairs.
• Inspecting and reporting vehicle faults and defects.
• Test driving vehicles
• Be responsible for all tools and equipment, both your own toolbox and the workshops tools.
• Hang tools up after use.
• Jacking up the vehicles with the safety measures in place.
• Operating hoist.
• Using hydraulic and power tools with care and safety.
• Cleaning the workshops before leaving.
• Executing all work in a safe manner.

Skills:

• Excellent diagnostic abilities
• Profound knowledge of systems and tools needed to perform a procedure
• Sound understanding of safety precautions
• Demonstrated ability to determine causes of errors and good resolution judgment
• Profound ability to determine what type of tools will be used in which situation
• Proven ability to detect problems and perform troubleshooting procedures
• Ability to handle precision machines and material handling equipment

Experience:

• 3-5 years’ experience as a vehicle mechanic

Qualifications Required:
