Care Car Clinic may be new to the Western Cape, but this chain of franchised service centres started in 2012 with one workshop in Centurion, Gauteng and has since grown to no less than 24 service centres countrywide.

They’ve been active in motorsport right from those early days, sponsoring selected competitors as well as a regional Sports and GT series at Zwartkops Raceway – and now their signature red, yellow and blue colours stand out boldly on the crash barriers around the double-apex right hander leading onto Killarney’s back straight.

They offer a full range of services and mechanical repairs to all makes of cars, including engine and gearbox rebuilds, brake and suspension repairs, air-conditioning repairs and re-gassing, diagnostics and electronic repairs.

Car Care Clinic’s Wouter Roos and Melanie Spurr had only recently signed on the bottom line for the naming rights to Killarney’s fastest corner when Covid-19 slammed the brakes on motorsport in South Africa, but they stood by their commitment through the months of lockdown and into the ‘new normal’ of motorsport without spectators – for which we salute them as worthy members of the Killarney family.
